Streaming Internet Explorer, VDI offline possibilities including VMware View, Virtualization Congress 2009 and Hyper-V Not in my datacenter Part 3.

Joseph Nord has written an excellent article explaining that Application Virtualization is a wonderful method to control Internet Explorer add-ins.

One of the most wishes features in VDI solutions is the offline usage possibility. Today both VDIWorks as VMware announced thiss feature. For VDIWorks it is an announcement in a next version, while in the VMware View software (formerly known as VMware VDI) has an experimental option into the product.

This year the Virtualization Congress was cancelled unfortunate. But they guys behind Virtualization.info have announced a 2009 version. This time is held in Las Vegas together with Citrix E-synergy. Hopefully the congress will make it in 2009, because I really like independent congresses.

Gabrie van Zanten has posted part three in his article series comparing Microsoft Hyper-V with VMware ESX. In this part three he is describing motions and storage.
